There are many activities planned for tomorrow, but just in case you are unable to be in Vici in-person, we want you to know you will have the opportunity to watch the 2025 Alumni Parade Live on our Facebook page at 10:00 am! Vici Public Schools is excited to announce that Dr, Kas Nelson, Principal of Vici Elementary, received the Oklahoma Association of Elementary School Principals 2025 OKLAHOMA ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR award and the National Association of Elementary School Principals NATIONAL DISTINGUISHED PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR award!

Vici Elementary will host Pre-Enrollment for all new students for the 2025-2026 school year on April 29th and 30th. Families may enroll either day between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. New students include incoming 4-year-olds, as well as students who may be planning to attend school at Vici in any grade next year and are currently not enrolled at Vici.
Pre-enrollment helps us plan for staffing needs for the upcoming year, so please share this information with any family that might have children who plan to attend Vici Elementary next year. Families should bring these documents to pre-enrollment:
✔️Birth certificate
✔️Current shot-records
✔️Proof of residence within the Vici School District (A water or electric bill)

Baseball playoff t-shirts are being sold now! All orders are due by the end of the school day on Tuesday, April 15th! Forms were sent with elementary students last Thursday, and are available at the school. Get your shirt and get ready to follow the Indians into Districts!! Go Indians!


Vici students have been fortunate to be coached and taught by Coach Haley and Coach Watkins for the last few years. We are thankful for these two coaches and their dedication and influence on our students. We appreciate the time and sacrifices they have made while molding and teaching our young people. Thank you for being caring educators, Coach Haley and Coach Watkins.
Now, Vici Schools will be hiring a Head JH & HS Basketball Coach and a Head JH & HS Baseball Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. The teaching field is open. Please send résumé and certificate to Superintendent Coby Nelson at cnelson@vicischools.k12.ok.us before April 21st, 2025.


Congratulations to the 7th & 8th Academic Team! They are 2025 STATE CHAMPIONS! Please help welcome this team back to Vici tonight by lining up on Broadway and honking for them when they arrive! 3rd through 8th state tests are next week! Here is a schedule of days that classes will be testing over the next couple of weeks. And remember, students who are present for all of their test sessions will receive ice cream from Dr. Nelson! 💯🍦


Reminder for all juniors! The Science test begins at 8:15 am tomorrow, April 7th. All Juniors are required to take this test. Eat a healthy breakfast and arrive at school on time!

Today Vici students attended the OKCTE Young Writers Anthologies recognition and celebration ceremony at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Winning writers were recognized with their writing certificate, had the opportunity to read their excerpt, and received their anthology. Congratulations to these published authors: Miah Moore, Raquel Todd, Jessa Johnson, and Kimberly Hathaway. (Kruz Gamble not pictured)


State Assessments for Juniors begin on Monday, April 7th. All juniors are required to take state assessments in order to Graduate. Students should arrive to school on time, and tests will begin at 8:15 am. Please help ensure your child is present for all assessments.


🏀📚🔥March Book Madness is down to the Championship! Two books remain...and they're some GREAT ones! Students have voted, and the 2025 VES BOOK CHAMPION will be revealed today at the Monthly Assembly! Elementary students can wear jerseys today to help celebrate our winning book!


Senior Maddox Morris signed his letter of intent to play basketball for Eastern State University Junior College today. Maddox has had a successful high school career, and we wish him the best as he continues to work toward his basketball dreams in college. We're so proud of you, Maddox! Today, five students presented their history research projects at Oklahoma National History Day held on the SWOSU campus.
Randy Stewart presented a performance of his research over William Hammond, a military physician during the civil war. Randy placed 1st and now advances to State!
Kaydon Ostrom's research was over the Tulsa race massacre. Kaydon placed 4th and now advances to state!
Abigail Poulson's research focused on the Lebensborn program. Abigail placed 4th and now advances to state!
Cadence Harbolt researched and presented on the Kiowa tribe and boarding schools.
Kimberly Hathaway researched and presented on the Quapaw tribe and Pitcher, Oklahoma's

Today, Raquel Todd went to the Oklahoma State Capitol to receive her award for winning the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Law Day Essay Contest. There were over 1,500 entries from 160 schools, and Raquel won the 10th grade contest. She received a monetary reward and an engraved plaque, and she also received a personal tour of the capitol with Oklahoma Supreme Court Chief Justice, Dustin Rowe.

Today, Seniors attended Senior Boot Camp at High Plains Technology Center in Woodward.
Seniors gained information and experiences related to buying cars, real estate/rentals, social safety, money management, college tips, and self-defense. It was an enlightening day for our 2025 graduates!











Today Cash Kelso, Eli Harrel, and Raquel Todd attended the Oklahoma Writing Project’s Spring Writing Conference at the University of Oklahoma City. They heard from renowned poet, Durrel Carter, and they had breakout sessions where they heard from other authors and were able to read their winning writing. They also received their writing awards for the contests they won in March. Great job, Cash, Eli, and Raquel! We are so proud of you! #viciproud





Vici Schools is offering a driver’s education course during May and June. If any students are interested, please contact Mr. Robertson before Monday, April, 7th. The cost will be $150 per student.
